Please read these Terms carefully — they govern your use of Mafi. We’ve written them in plain language alongside the legal essentials.
Mafi is an AI-powered money coaching app that helps you track spending, organise recurring commitments, see your daily safe-to-spend, and get personalised guidance. Mafi is operated by Inneraktive FZE ("Inneraktive", "Mafi", "we", "us", or "our").
These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Mafi. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Mafi.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use Mafi. By using the app you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
You sign in with your email address using a one-time code. You are responsible for keeping access to your email secure and for all activity that happens under your account.
Please tell us promptly if you believe someone has accessed your account without permission.
Mafi is a personal budgeting and money-organisation tool. It provides general, educational, and informational insights generated in part by automated and AI systems.
Mafi is not a bank, money-services business, or licensed financial, investment, tax, or legal adviser. Nothing in the app is financial advice or a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any product. AI-generated insights can be incomplete or wrong — always use your own judgement and consult a qualified professional before making financial decisions.
You own the transactions, notes, and other information you add to Mafi. You grant us a limited licence to store and process this content solely to operate and improve the app for you, as described in our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter. Manually captured or voice-captured amounts should be reviewed for correctness.
You agree not to:
• Use Mafi for any unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purpose.
• Attempt to access another user’s data or our systems without authorisation.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or interfere with the app or its infrastructure.
• Submit content that is illegal, infringing, or harmful.
Mafi offers a free tier and a paid subscription (Mafi AI Pro) that unlocks additional features. Paid subscriptions are sold through the Apple App Store and are billed to your Apple ID.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings. Payments, refunds, and renewals are handled by Apple under its terms; we do not separately control App Store billing.
We may change, add, or remove features, and may adjust what is included in the free and paid tiers over time. We will not reduce paid features you have already been charged for during your current billing period in a way that materially deprives you of the core benefit.
Mafi relies on third-party providers — including cloud hosting, authentication, AI model providers, push notifications, exchange-rate data, and the App Store. Your use of the app may also be subject to those providers’ terms. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.
Mafi is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that insights will be accurate or complete.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mafi and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, savings, data, or goodwill arising from your use of — or inability to use — the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
You may stop using Mafi at any time and can delete your account from Settings → Delete Account, which permanently removes your data. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use the app in a way that risks harm to others or to our systems.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you in the app. Continuing to use Mafi after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in the UAE will have jurisdiction over any dispute, except where mandatory local consumer law gives you other rights.
